Do you want to master your camera or learn how to use studio lights?

After a number of requests John has introduced a 1 to 1 tuition day. A qualified training professional John knows how to make the technical brain friendly. As the day is 1 to 1 it's a totally flexible agenda, you learn what you need to learn.

• Develop your style with John's technical guidance

• Full use of John's extensive Elinchrom studio lighting kit

• Use of a Nikon D2x or D3 and pro lenses if required

• Shoot professional model/s

• Option to have a signed model release with all 1 to 1 shoots

• Learn how to work with a model from concept to final shot

• Different lighting setups for different effects

• Developing ideas and concepts

A recent day for a customer covered the following:

10.00am Start at John's studio for coffee an equipment check and discussion

10.30am Model arrives for briefing and preparation for shoot

10.45am Shoot using different lighting and setups. Concentrating on the lighting and the technical setup.

12.30pm Lunch

1.15pm Review

1.30pm Shoot continues with more discussion, interaction and feedback with the model

3.00pm Afternoon tea and review of afternoon's work

3.30pm Activity - set task to take concept through to finished shot

4.30pm Review

5.00pm Close
